What areas do you cover as a mobile mechanic?
ADL Mobile Mechanic is based in Wem and covers roughly a 30-mile radius across Shropshire and into Cheshire. That regularly includes Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Oswestry, Telford, Newport, Nantwich and Crewe. If your postcode is nearby and not listed, call or WhatsApp Aaron — nearby towns are often workable depending on the diary.
How do I book a mobile mechanic visit?
There are no online booking forms. Call or WhatsApp Aaron on 07426 443009 with the vehicle make, model and year, where it is parked, and what you are hearing, seeing or smelling. We will agree a time that suits you and come to your driveway, workplace or yard.
How much does a mobile diagnostic cost?
Diagnostics typically start from £40. Servicing and repairs are quoted after the fault is understood so you are not guessing parts. You get a clear, upfront price before work goes ahead — no hidden extras.
Do you need a big driveway?
A standard parking space is usually enough. The van carries tools, diagnostics and covers. If access is tight — shared drives, farm yards, or workplace car parks — mention it when you message and we will plan around it.
Do you supply parts?
Yes. Quality OE-equivalent or genuine parts are sourced at trade prices so you do not need to chase suppliers. If a job needs specialist ordering, Aaron will say so before committing you to a date.
How long do repairs take?
Many diagnostics and smaller repairs are finished within an hour or two. Larger jobs such as timing chain or clutch work are often a full day. You will get a realistic time estimate with the quote.
What if it rains?
We work in typical British weather. The van carries covers and a gazebo for wet conditions. Only genuinely unsafe weather stops a visit — rain alone rarely does.
Can you work on any car or van?
Most cars, vans and light commercials are fine. ADL is especially known for Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivaro timing chain work, but day-to-day calls also cover Fords, Vauxhalls, VW group vehicles, BMWs and more. If you are unsure, send the registration on WhatsApp.
What should I send on WhatsApp?
A short description of the fault, any warning light photos, the registration or make/model/year, and the postcode where the vehicle is parked. That is usually enough to book the right time slot and arrive prepared.
Still unsure?
Message Aaron with the registration, postcode and a photo of any warning light. See about Aaron or contact.
