How much does a mobile diagnostic cost?
Diagnostics start from £40 for a standard fault-code read and inspection on a car or light van within the core coverage area. The final figure depends on the vehicle, your location and how much testing the fault needs, so Aaron confirms the price with you before he sets off. Servicing and repairs are quoted separately once the fault is understood, so you are not paying for guessed parts.
Do you need a big driveway?
A standard parking space is usually enough. The van carries tools, diagnostics and covers. If access is tight — shared drives, farm yards, or workplace car parks — mention it when you message and we will plan around it.
Do you supply parts?
Yes. Quality OE-equivalent or genuine parts are sourced through trade suppliers so you do not need to chase them yourself. If a job needs specialist ordering, Aaron will say so before committing you to a date.
Can you do my MOT at my house?
No — an MOT test can only be carried out at a DVSA-approved test centre, because it needs ramps, emissions equipment and headlight beam testers that cannot travel. What Aaron can do is the MOT preparation: checking the common fail points at your home or workplace and fixing what is sensible to fix before you book the test, so you are not paying for a retest.
